Interesting news for you Lost fans out there– so don’t read forward if you don’t want any details. It’s sounds like Jack’s crazy plan worked. In May’s finale, the castaways detonated a bomb on the mysterious island in hopes of resetting the last several years of their lives. During Comic-Con this year numerous sixth season reports were made including the announcement of the return of Elizabeth Mitchell (Juliet Burke), Jeremy Davies (Daniel Faraday) and Dominic Monaghan (Charlie Pace), as well as the inclusion of Nestor Carbonell (Richard Alpert) as a main character. Josh Holloway stated his character Sawyer would revert back to his old self after the loss of Juliet.

Peter Jackson’s ‘District 9′ New Trailer
District 9 is an upcoming science fiction film produced by Peter Jackson and directed by Neill Blomkamp. I remember seeing an earlier trailer for this movie and not knowing what to make of it — this new trailer looks great. This new movie is based on Alive in Joburg (video), a short film directed by Neill Blomkamp, Sharlto Copley, Simon Hansen and Shanon Worley. The title is influenced by real life District Six, Cape Town. Copley also portrayed one of the interviewed policemen. The short film is about aliens landing in South Africa and becoming confined to a specific area and forced to work.
Alice In Wonderland Trailer Released
If you’ve not already heard the news — Tim Burton has been working on an adaptation of the classic film Alice in Wonderland . It is based off the Lewis Carroll novels Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass. Starring Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter, Anne Hathaway as the White Queen, Helena Bonham Carter as the Red Queen, and Matt Lucas as Tweedledee and Tweedledum. The film will use a technique combining live action, motion capture technology, and stop motion.
A teaser trailer was just released and it looks pretty crazy– definitely what you’d expect from a Tim Burton film. But don’t take my word for it, have a look for yourself:
Futurama to Return Without Original Cast?
Much like that gas station burrito you thought tasted great at the time — the news of Futurama returning in 2010 to please starving fans has turned horribly crappy.
20th Century Fox TV is producing 26 new episodes for a mid-year cable run on Comedy Central, but talks have broken down with voice stars Billy West, Katey Sagal, John DiMaggio, Maurice LaMarche, and Tress MacNeille over money. Fox is trying to cut costs for the move to cable and has offered the cast much less than they were asking (believed to be around $75,000 per episode).

Everlast – Love, War & the Ghost of Whitey Ford
Erik Schrody, better known by his stage name Everlast, is an Irish-American rapper and singer-songwriter, best known for his hit “What It’s Like“, and for his unique genre-crossing mix of hip-hop and acoustic-based rock music. Love, War and the Ghost of Whitey Ford is the fifth solo album released by Everlast. The album was released on September 23, 2008. So why am I reviewing it now?
The album went fairly un-noticed or reviewed by the mainstream media, which is unfortunate because it may be Everlast’s greatest work. With the exception of opening track “Kill The Emperor,” the album largely abandons any hip-hop influence one might expect, instead delivering dark tales and gritty personal musings all threaded together by Everlast’s baritone crooning and a gang of live instruments.
